A note of caution: Many laptops ship with a Recovery Disk. If you call the factory for technical support, they may suggest that you use the Recovery Disk. What they may or may not tell you is that if you do YOU WILL WIPE OUT ALL YOUR PROGRAMS AND DATA. If you have important data on your hard drive, DO NOT use the Recovery Disk. Bring your laptop to us and have us back up all your important data before attempting to repair the problem with the Recovery Disk. However, we specialize in repairing Windows problems so that you may be able to use your programs and data just like before. Have us perform a diagnostic on the hardware and software before going the wipe-and-reload route.

When bringing in a laptop for repair, always bring the AC adaptor with it as we frequently need to work on the laptop longer than the battery will last.
